On Monday 4,65,00,000 unit shares of Sarbottam Cement were listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The shares of the company have come into trading from today.
The company had issued an IPO to the general public through a book-building process.
The company had allotted 9,30,000 units of shares to Nepalese working abroad, 2,48,470 units of shares to local residents affected by the industry, 1,54,227 units of shares to mutual funds and employees and the remaining 27,76,076 units of shares to the general public.
87.10% of shares of Sarbottam Cement Company i.e. 4,05,00,000 units of shares belong to the promoter’s shareholders. The remaining 12.90% of shares i.e. 60,00,000 units of shares are held by mutual funds and employees, Nepalese working abroad, local residents affected by the industry and the general public.
According to the company’s report, the book value is Rs. 185.36. On this basis, today’s trading will start on NEPSE from low price range of Rs. 185.36 to high price range of Rs. 556.08.
